Samuel Garrett Houses on Temperance Street

The Samuel Garrett Houses on Temperance Street in morning sunlight.
These houses were built for his daughters by Samuel Garrett, the same man who built Cabot Tower.
The houses are sometimes known as "The Four Sisters".

First for me...i had not seen these houses...ever...but i hopefully will!....amazing piece of history , again.....love the capturred sunlight, and the story of the houses, real good shot, Jerry...thanks

Interesting story. Reminds me of the Bronte parsonage for some reason. Maybe for that reason there's a strange romanticsm to this for me. John

I wonder if there was an advantage to getting the uphill house vs. the lowest one. ;-)
