DSC06180 - Old 906

The Newfoundland Railway passenger service was shut down in July 1969 - shortly after the Trans Canada Highway was opened across the province,
which enabled 12-hour crossings of the province by car, when the old narrow-gauge railway took 23. The freight service continued until 1988.
This engine hasn't been used since, but it still an attraction to tourists and photographers. The old Railway Station in the background is now a museum.
