Hi, I have a spare top center cowl piece to this airplane. Call me if you'd like 503-720-7689 John

Oops, correction make that "a foot and a half on each wing", it was 3' overall added (and the vertical stabilizer wasn't lengthened as I'd thought. Last I saw of this aircraft it flew out right over me, fitting as that's how it came into my life.
I'm surprised to learn that many of its unique features that I knew have since come to be covered and even belittled, maybe it shall yet come to be recognized as (it is) quite Special.

This aircraft is a B model Hamilton Conversion (having a foot and a half added to the overall wingspan and a lengthened vertical stabilizer), it has 'a room with a windowed door' within the fuselage having an underside portal for cameras added after it's Air Force service as an A model. It was used for Atmospheric Research in storm penetration and cloud seeding applications before we bought it in the late 70's~ so it had a list of HD upgrades (like de-icing boots, additional electronic & static handling equipment, and a 1 1/2" thick windshield!), along with its original underwing .50 cal. M.G. and 2.75" Rockets pods!
We used this for a number of Photo-mapping and Remote Sensing applications as well as a few airshows (Oshkosh, Offut AFB) flying with P-51Ds which it outmaneuvered but didn't pass up without a dive-in first! It even once gave a very well documented ride to the lady hosting 'Good Morning America'! We had it further upgraded at Kalamazoo with the Heavier landing gear just before selling it (after opting to turn down the offer which would've seen it based in Johannesburg SA), and shifting the focus to other domestic aerial services.
This plane was the best experience of (aerobatic) flying time I've had, a truly beautiful flyer!
