Bad news, this is in fact not a US Navy CH-46. The US Navy only flies the D model and this is an E ... Some of the finer indications are the larger intakes oval exhausts used for the GE-T58-16 engines (as opposed to pointed intakes and round exhausts for GE-T58-410's). The larger stubwings (airframes change 479 aka bullphrog). Of course if you can't spot these .... a good way to spot at a glance is the word "MARINES" painted directly above the stubwings.
