OK, this was a challenging set of images to capture. Not because of the action involved. Finboarding is essentially attaching a kite to a surfboard and letting the wind take you. We did a bit of off-roading to approach the beach where these guys were finboarding, but I needed to be closer than the car could get.

Remember that bit about needing wind? Well, wind strong enough to carry these guys does amazing things with sand on a flat beach. Suffice it to say I was digging sand out of the innards of the camera for a couple of days -- and you can see a few blue scratches on a couple shots that were surely a result of a grain or two sneaking into the works. Q-Tips were needed to extract sand from the photographer, as well.
