Sept 13. luck(y) or ladder
I’ve been working in the study all day,
so stepped outside a few minutes ago for some air, and to take this shot.
When I looked up into the sky I saw this bright yellow disk, just hanging there in the sky.
I went and knocked on the neighbour’s door, and asked if they had seen it, and did they know what it was.
We were all flummoxed, and just stood there staring at this bright yellow disc.
Because we were just staring and looking into the sky, we soon drew quite a crowd.
Everyone was excited about seeing this thing in the sky. Was it a new flying machine or was it an UFO.
Then a little boy came along and asked us what we were doing, so we explained and pointed.
He said that he was doing science at school yesterday, and had seen a picture very similar to this yellow disk
He ran home to get the book, and when he returned, he showed us all what he had found.
We were all amazed, the answer was incredible, none of us had seen one for ages, so we just didn’t recognise it.
These answer was so simple, that bright yellow disc hovering in the sky was actually the Sun…
So I used it to illuminate the ladder and show this bright yellow glow on the rungs
For all the non Brits, The UK has had one of the wettest and dullest summers in recorded history
I honestly can not remember the last time I saw a lovely blue sky and the sun shining..
It was probably in late May, and it's now nearly mid September
