Red-breasted Flycatcher

(ficedula parva)
The Red-breasted Flycatcher is an uncommon but regular autumn passage migrant. Most years the regular east coast and northern isles migration hot spots will see one or two birds. It winters in Africa. I was pleased to catch up with this bird as it was my first for the UK.
