The island of Baltra (or South Seymour) is the starting point for all Galapagos cruises as that is where the airport is located. A very short drive from the airport brings you to Baltra harbour where you will join your boat. At the airport there is a welcoming party of Small and Medium Ground-Finches whilst the harbour will give you your first close up experience of iguanas, crabs, sea lions and some of the regular birds.
