Bass Rock, North Berwick

These are some images which I took on a trip out to the Bass Rock which is in the Firth of Forth not far offshore from North Berwick. The attraction of the Bass Rock is that it is the largest single island colony of Gannets, precisely these are Northern Gannets, in the world. Current estimates put the number of birds at 140,000. This boat trip did not land on the rock.
