Scotts Selkirk and Fireworks Display

Scotts Selkirk is held in the Borders town of Selkirk each year around the beginning of December when the town reverts to around the year 1800 when Scottish novelist Walter Scott and West African Explorer, Mungo Park lived in and around the area.
Over the weekend of December 3rd and 4th, 2005 the townsfolk and many visitors too, donned appropriate garb as a market was held and musicians, jugglers and other fine forms of entertainemnt took place. These photographs are an attempt to capture some of the event which culminated with an excellent fireworks display.
