Nice & simple, but a bit of a lump to carry around if you need centrestand on the road, e.g; for a puncture repair or some such, so I've invented the stealth centrestand. Cut off the footlever, weld in a piece of heavy 1" tubing between and just above the feet, then weld on a piece of 19mm hex steel bar about 1 1/2" long where the lever used to be. Carry a 19mm long reach single hex impact socket and a telescopic car wheelbrace which can be stashed in your tool roll or clipped onto the subframe rail. The centrestand disappears up underneath the bike and all you have to do to deploy it is to pull it down slightly, fit the socket & wheelbrace on, extend the telescopic tube and the resulting leverage is enough to raise the bike easily, even if you're not a particularly hefty specimen........
