I have done this conversion on my UK 1995 XV1100. I have Highway Hawk Dragon Pipes installed with homemade baffles which probably removes most restriction on the exhaust. No re-jetting was required after fitting the pipes, however the Screamin' Eagle kit greatly increases the intake air flow. For the benefit of those who have the courage to fit this kit, as follows are pretty much my final settings after about 15 to 20 carb removals and re-fitting: Pilot jets 40, Main Jet Front 152.5, Main Jet Rear 150.0, Cobra Needles clip on 1st notch from the top, Pilot Screws 3 turns out. I hope this saves you all a lot of time!

I am seriously considering this modification on my XV1100 1994 which already have Jardine slash cut drag pipes, however, can you give me an idea of the final jetting set-up you arrived at for clean running? This could save me hours of trial and error. Thanks in advance for the help and great article on the air cleaner mod.
