The many faces and glances of Minou Paris

Do we ever see ourselves as others see us? Can the camera capture the spirit and soul of what lies below the surface? As some cultures fear that the camera may steal the soul: I believe that the camera cannot steal what it does not see. Instead, it can only capture the expression, the face, the gesture, the silhouette, the moment in time; for a photo is only a reflection of what is visible.
