this is the grave of my mother's brother,
my father's sister's husband
and my uncle ivan
i never met him
i never remember him
but his children are my brothers and sisters
and his grandchildren are my nieces and nephews
and i love that he is buried here
where he was born and where he returned
when the USA decided they would not let his family come in
i think life has to be a certain way
and if he had left
would he have been able to rest this peacefully
