'merry christmas was not this year
for i had to work late hours my dear
never made it to pittsburgh
nor to the north eastern suburbs
for i had only the memories
to hold on to past ceremonies
i made myself a feast
free of anything made with yeast
it was sad but yet complete
better to believe then delete'
