D'em Bones

Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Scotland.

The iconic skeletal tree that stands like a lone sentinel against the elemental extremes of Rannoch moor looked simply amazing surrounded by the grass covered peat hags resplendent in their autumn gown of burnt orange. The luminosity of the scene was intensified by light drizzle and a polariser which cut through the surface glare givng the colours extraordinary depth.

Perfect landscape. Just enough in the composition. Rich color and complimentary forms. A sweet depth to it too!
