Although the basalt pinnacles of Storr form probably the most famed and celebrated view on Skye. I was never-the-less very taken with the warm light playing over the rolling hills and plateaus as they decend to the Sound of Sleat separating Skye and the west coast of Scotland. There are a surprising array of greens to be found within those sunlit slopes. If you look very carefully you will see my companion for the day Emmanuel in a red jacket on a distant plateau providing a sense of scale.
