The Path Of Least Resistance

Braemar Junction, nr Ullapool, Scotland.

Water from the mountains of the An Teallach range drain into the peat bogs on the lower foothills and combine into rivers that meander between rocks and peat hags carving a lazy path of least resistance to the sea. The contrasting hues of blue and gold dappled with white snow bring the scenery to life in winter sunshine. The snow capped An Teallach ridge is the icing on this beautiful cake.
