This old drain pipe is attached to a boat shed at Blairs Loch near Forres. It has been painted a number of times previously bright red and latterly cobalt blue. It is due another coat but for the moment it's palette of colour is intoxicatngly beautiful as the blue peels off to reveal the red below. Amazes me that something inherently ugly can become a work of art.
