Rolling Stones

Hopeman, Moray, Scotland.

The incoming tide was unusually rough, despite being mid summer. I got down very low where I could clearly see the setting sun was casting a reddish glow over some of the round polished pebbles that were chattering noisily to each other as they were being being rolled vigorously about. The colours in those stones are quite remarkable and soft coloured light really brings out the multitude of hues they are endowed with.
