This is the same little loch, Loch Awe that featured in my earlier shot with the wee blue boat. This time I was nearer the road and was just able to see the triangular peak of one of the shapely mountains in the Inverpolly reserve jutting above the hill and fortuitously framed by a puff of white cumulus cloud. As ever the most important ingredient was light and patches of it skated across the loch briefly illuminating this tiny island retreat complete with felled pines.
