Aspen Symmetry

Zion NP, Utah, USA.

Not your typical towering red cliff/chasm shot from Zion but very pleasing never-the-less. Aspen trees have the most amazing white trunks and grow together in thick groves. Light is filtered down the trunks reflecting from the silvery surfaces giving a light airy feel even to the thickest woodland. I found this delightful "S" bend in one particular trunk complete with the eye shaped boles and isolated it against a diffuse background of other aspens beneath a delicious blue sky. It works for me a treat.
