I've had my eye on this shapely little tree which is on the road that leads to the ski resort at Cairngorm. At last I found the colour of light I was looking for a sort of frozen blue against gold where the sun has managed to bore a hole in the dense cloud cover. There are those that would probably wish the tree was lit but I prefer it as is in suspended animation with growth inhibited.
