On the same dull leaden grey winters day as the previous couple of shots, this one was taken in the valley where I was initially drawn by the sweeping "S" bend of the river. However the light was totally uninspiring until for a magical two minutes the sun penetrtaed the dense cloud and lit up the underside of the clouds turning them pink. To my astonishment the river became blood the reflection of the sky glowing on its surface. My only regret is that I didn't have my big Pentax with me.
