Hot Rocks

Ayers Rock, Red Centre, Australia.

Although most visitors to Ayers rock insist on climbing the largest monolith in the world. The aborigine are most emphatically against it. I chose to do a dawn walk of some 7km around the perimeter, boy am I glad I did. Apart from being largely alone I was treated to technicolour that positively hurt the eyes. Never have I seen blues so blue, reds so red and greens so vibrant. I attached a polariser to rid myself of reflections and further intensify the amazing colours.
