Treading the path on the edge of light is a very difficult thing to do. It is so easy for the weather to break the wrong way and swamp you in a perpetual deluge of windswept rain, reducing the photography to bedraggled misery. It is also the most amazing place to be if you can stay on the path. I was lucky enough to stay one step ahead of the weather and was treated to a display of lighting that was truly heaven sent.
