Dava Fire Grass

Dava Moor, Moray, Scotland.

This amazing grass that grows on dava moor and on the high hills of Torridon goes rapidly from yellow to red to deep crimson in a matter of two weeks in late October. If you are fortunate to combine it with a frosty morning and backlighting from an early sunrise the grass will glow like the embers of a fire.
