Rainbow Stacks

Duncansby Head, Caithness, Scotland.

The cliff scenery around the extreme north of Scotland namely Duncansby Head is of course very dramatic with some of the stacks shaped more like the canines of some gigantic dragon. It wasn't the scale of the cliffs that had me mesmerised it was the colour, like a rainbow, red rock, yellow lichens, green vegetation, blue sky, indigo sea, dead impressive. The ship steaming by behind adds a sense of scale as well. Hope you enjoy it.
