Chimanimani is a small village in the Eastern highlands of Zimbabwe which I was lucky enough to choose to visit on my travels. The villagers are very poor but delighted to see visitors and show them around their village. I was introduced to the school where just a few of the children were privileged to be taught. It was and hopefully still is a very special place, perhaps it is far enough away from Mugabe and his henchmen.
