The Pivotal Point

Findhorn Beach, Moray, Scotland.

Findhorn beach is a dificult place to photograph there aren't exactly an abundance of features, so when I find one I try and make the best of it. On this occasion I was lucky the tidal pools on the beach seemed to echo the swirling sky above and I realised I could use the green post at the fulcrum of the foreground pool and sweep of cloud above. A pivotal shot in fact.
