Normally photographed as a moody black and white pano in storm light, this is a very different take on the Castlerigg stones. I haven't included them all, the composition would have been far too windy for my squarish format. I chose to select the ones I liked best and watched as lemon yellow light painted them, complementing the colours so softly and gently against the reddening bracken slopes behind.
