Yin & Yan

Coniston, Cumbria, England.

As I was sitting eating a sandwich contemplating a very sucessful morning at the edge of lake Coniston another shot materialised slowly before my eyes. Some leaves plucked off a nearby tree by a squirrel dropped into the mirror surface and drifted very slowly toward me between the reflection of an overhanging tree, it reminded me of the chinese symbol for balance yin and yan.

I see just how one timely quick move can turn something short-lived into a permanent image like this one. Superb!
