The black schist stones beaten smooth by the incessant tidal action of the sea at Embleton Bay. I had anticipated the red light of sunrise streaming in across the rocks painting the edges a firey red, imagine my disappointment when I looked out to sea and saw a tiny tomato pip sun rapidly disappearing into a heavy grey sky. I shrugged it off and took the shot more as a recognition of the celestial joke played upon me, but the results wildly exceeded my expectations.
