The old ruin of Moine House sits on a moorland plateau high above the Sutherland hamlet of Tongue by a bit of careful positioning the ruin can be placed in front of the escarpment of Ben Loyal and a little extra luck and attention to the weather Gods will quite likely present the opportunity of recording snow on the distant peaks. Given sufficient time and hopeful prayer I was fortunate to have a beam of transient light fleetingly pass over the house illuminating the it against the moody sky and peaks beyond and because of that I opted for a black and white conversion.
