A simply stunning sunrise over a small angling loch in the Trossachs is partially concealed by mist occasionally revealing and concealing the treeline and its sublime reflection. I continually checked the histogram such that the orb of the sun and its reflection was clearly visible but also maintained a practical dynamic range to render adequate and realistic detail in the entire image. This best matched my vision for the shot and ended up being the most satisfying image.
