I decided to make this a Large image so you can enjoy the view a little more easily.
With snow still very apparent on the higher peaks I decided to take a wander out past Loch Laggan towards Glen Spean and I was treated to some quite epic skies and silvery light filtering through to the snow covered summits around Lochaber. I waited for some soft light to fall on my foreground to give some structure to the mixed larch and pine plantations and waited still longer for just the right amount of stray sunlight to paint the summit peaks beneath a blanket of cloud that spawned snow, hail and rain.
