Ice Candy Rannoch

Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Scotland

This is getting on for one of my personal favourite images of Rannoch moor and bearing how many times I have had the opportunity to visit that is saying something. I had not been to this specific location before but everything fell into place beautifully and the light for a very short while just after sunset turned as sumptuous a blend of warm and cool colours as I could wish for. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

A beautiful shot Ian! Do you develop yourself your pictures or you go to a lab to do it? I am a big user of 35mm film. The most of my gallery are pellicule. But today it is very hard to find a place to do the development. I have to sent my films to Montreal and it costs a lot more than before because not enough customers do it on these days. V

Yes, I enjoy this great landscape image very much. Wonderful light, impressive colors and sharp as can be.
I take it you have used a special filter. Great scan from the Fujichrome Velvia film.
GREAT WORK. "V"
