Definitely one of Scotland's finest beaches, Traigh Rosamol on the Isle of Harris has an enormous stretch of golden sand, Taransay island, a mountainous backdrop, turquoise sea and crisp clean green rollers that spill onto the beach, add to that it is all but deserted and to date I have never seen a single strand of seaweed deposited on its gorgeous shoreline and you have a recipe for photographic heaven. I ventured here around sunrise on a gentle spring morning and as usual fell in love with it's lilting melody and soft colours.
