The Gemsbok or Oryx are perfectly adapted to travelling vast distances in very arid conditions and the Namibian sand dunes and Vlei are certainly no barrier in respect of immigration to these stately looking antelope in their monochromatic coats. This is one of my two favourite pictures I took whilst away in Africa, the vivid chroma of the environment contrasts so strongly with the beauty of this gorgeous creature.
