A little island in Loch Lurgainn surrounded by reeds is serenely positioned in a bay at the foot of Stac Pollaidh the most notable Scottish peak in the area. Afternoon sunlight shimmered across the island birch trees and golden reeds such that they stood out against the blue reflection of the shadow side of the other Inverpolly hills. Then out of the blue a breeze sprang up and I captured this shot just before the wind ruffled lead edge of the breeze mixed with the island in its sapphire stronghold.
