I have just returned from a trip to Senja Island in Norway and if there is one image that sums up Senja island in winter that I managed to take this would probably be my choice and I confess I absolutely love it. The high mountains had so much snow that had fallen on their gently rounded features that it was largely an unblemished white sheet, no less than a billowing sail over which clouds scudded leaving an ever changing pattern of soft light and shade mixed with the reflected patches of blue from a clear sky. Totally enchanting and mesmerising.
