If there was a metaphor for gold at the end of a rainbow this must surely be it. Those autumnal grasses were seared with golden sunlight under heavy inky blue clouds just seconds before a deluge of biblical proportions happened upon us. The dazzling contrasting hues and that gorgeous bubble trail of a lazy river flowing past complete with just a hint of rainbow is as strong an example of transient light you could wish to see.
