Sublime was the only word to describe the perfect morning and stunning reflection that formed over a reed bed at the southern end of Loch Fada. I just loved the complex pattern of green spiked reeds bursting through the blue reflected waters and decided to emphasise the contrasting colours with a gentle application of a polariser and a slightly stronger ND grad filter to neutralise the abrupt fall off in light in the near foreground. The result is pretty well balanced and nicely reveals the needle of the Old Man of Storr on the rocky escarpment doubled up in the reflection.
