Photo taken a little after Orange Mellon but still prior to sunrise.

Like a river of molten lava the water reflecting off the sky over Mellon Udrigle one amazing autumn morning turned as orange as a satsuma. The astounding colour just seemed to keep on getting more and more impossibly intense and my exposures became more and more critical as the contrast inherent within the scene grew. It was a sunrise that will live long in my memory. I should add that far from being enhanced the colour has been stifled to remain within the colour gamut of digital. Never-the-less this is an accurate depiction of both my fim and the vision I was fortunate to witness first hand.
