I have visited Ben Loyal at this spot across the estuary at the Kyle of Tongue on at least a dozen occasions having carefully noted sunrise positions and the a suitable tide to get the shot envisaged. Finally I earned my loyalty points and collected a reward for my endevours with the sun creating upward shafts of light between the pointed escarpment of Ben Loyal and the bright light source duly reflecting off the silvery blue mudflats.
