Often the sea on the west coast of the outer Hebrides is gigantic, with next stop west being America the Atlantic swells can build up to a significant degree. Not so on this evening, it was in fact as calm as I have ever seen it at this location, never-the-less the sky was a lovely shade of tangerine and that orange glow painted itself on the surface of Dail Baig's oily black stones.
