The most beautiful shaft of golden sunlight burst through hanging snow filled clouds to illuminate the flanks of the jagged snow covered peaks on the opposite side of the fjord. This edge of light material with it's opposing blue and gold hues is some of my favourite and very transient light. Of course the weather proves very edgy and seconds later the scene was quite literally consumed by a heavy snow shower that added another inch to the foreground bedrock. Hope you like it thus far it is one of my favourite shots I have taken in Lofoten.
