Castle Stalker is just to the left of this twilit scene but I realised that the gentle lapping of water over the end of the partially submerged slipway was an altogether more beguiling subject than the hitherto overwhelming urge to include Castle Stalker in every shot. The gorgeous colour palette of deep blue and banana yellow is a more than worthy diversion and certainly the best shot I took on this particular evening. An important lesson learned not to always shoot the obvious.
