Frozen Gold

Loch Culdromman, Inverpolly, Scotland

An unusual view looking up the length of Culdromman in mid winter with a winter sunset staining the sky burnished gold in opposition to the twilight blue hues of a clear overhead sky reflecting on the shadowed snow. The loch hasn't quite frozen instead it more closely resembles a butterscotch coloured slush puppy with a near soup like consistency.

Very nice - I was up in Inverpolly very recently for a long weekend. Best place for photos in Scotland in my opinion.
