Uath Lochans

Farleitter Crag, Cairngorm, Scotland

A very rare digital image from me.

A moderately energetic stroll up Farleitter Crags gave me a very decent view of the Uath Lochans below. Although it is early January I am down to a tee shirt it's currently 12 degrees celcius and the anticipated snow has melted and receded far up the Cairngorm peaks. Never-the-less I really like the opposing palette generated by the purple twiggery of birch and the evergreen pine trees. Looking forward to a re-visit.

Nice capture. I hope you haven't switched to digital. I really like the views you capture through film.
